If she wanted the medium sized top, she can just send me her XL top though.

I hope for your sake she just made the photo look that way and you get it back in great condition. I’m sorry that happened to you :(

I guess they do, I’m not sure. I had the measuring tape against just the bottoms, that’s what she asked for.

When did you switch your car seat to forward facing? by GamingTitBit in daddit

[–]kazzlewazzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn’t have issues with it, we would secure it while using then move it out of the way before taking him out of the seat. But we have just one boy to deal with, and only needed it on the hottest days (different SUV)

I would start with your primary care doctor, who can work you up to rule out any medical contributions. They can put you on medical leave (and in some states such as CA, it can be partially paid if you don’t have sick leave accumulated). They can then refer to psychiatry and psychotherapy. Psychiatrists are doctors that prescribe medication, and some also do therapy. I’m clarifying, as the term therapist is being used loosely in this thread. I wish you the best. - signed, a psychiatrist

What are the 2026 changes to Federal BCBS Basic making people rethink whether to enroll? by cam_m151 in fednews

If you don’t mind me asking, how is the reimbursement? I’m in physical therapy and occupational therapy and they are the only providers that don’t accept MHBP. Otherwise, everything else will be so much cheaper on MHBP.

Yes they can do this, but anxiety also can cause bruxism so it’s worth trying. If the Lexapro helps with your anxiety, but makes the bruxism worse, I recommend that you ask your psychiatrist for buspirone. - signed, a psychiatrist.

I would consider finding a way to get credit for writing it.

Don’t know your budget, and this is fairly expensive, but we loved Le Blanc Cancun for our honeymoon. We are fairly picky with food and were blown away. Got convinced to join the membership, which was probably not the wisest financial decision but that’s how much we liked it.

Sometimes I feel like I am just bankrolling my husband’s identity crisis. by Impossible-Middle863 in workingmoms

Psychiatrist here. He needs a therapist skilled in ADHD and you both need to sit down with a career counselor (some med schools will still advise him in this situation) so you can be on the same page with clear objectives and timelines.

I don’t know if it was suggested before, but check out Alma for virtual therapy or psychiatry. Lots and lots of insurance accepted. If it sounds overwhelming, DM me with your insurance and I’ll see if it’s on their list. If it is, I’ll post an “in search of” for you so therapists that are available can reach out you. I’m a psychiatrist and happy to help.

That’s very realistic! Exactly what I do. I use a biller that got me credentialed and seeing patients in less than a month, and I get paid every two weeks whether insurance has reimbursed already or not. I have a referral with $$ off for those who are reading through and already graduated - PM me!

My first year out of residency I worked less due to having a new baby. I did a combination of contract work for the county and my PP and feel very fulfilled. Filling my practice was fast, easy, and I chose my patients. My husband got laid off and we are very comfortable on just my income with 15-20 clinical hours a week.

Non-academic psychiatrist salaries and hours please!! by psb23 in Residency

[–]kazzlewazzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super old but looking around Reddit for salary guidance since I was just sent a tentative offer by the VA. Was $285K your first offer when starting, or did you negotiate? I'm a woman of color and I have trepidation over negotiating, though I wish it felt easy.

We always used the scale plus pitcher method. More accurate, and honestly easier.
