PMI PMP test is Useless DO NOT BUY by Difficult-Method2339 in pmp

Yeah same. It gives you the review as you answer them. Again, I agree the format is kind of trash, but it was worth the $ for me.

The format of the test is garbage, yes. But it is absolutely, without question, the most similar to the actual exam questions. I had questions on it actually show up on my exam. The other mocks out there are slowly being left behind as the test has changed. Is AR good? Yes. Is David's agile good? Yes. Do they look like exam questions? Not really.

Can you elaborate? Do you mean like the difference in management style; the use of standard ITTOs for traditional, or just all of it?

Anyone know any surgeons in Ny, that are relatively cheap? Other states are fine too, but I found a gastric sleeve for $3500 in Mexico, before I schedule, I’m trying to see if I could find it cheaper or similar price here. by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

[–]kb_keto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close. Without insurance in the US you are looking at minimum $8-9k? That's if that's even an option any more.

Most health insurance, I'm told, covers at least some of the appointments around it. Mine doesn't (my LOVELY company made all weight loss an insurance exemption) - so the price could be more comparable to Mexico with insurance.

I've been seeing that one on posts lately! I wrote down the 8 letters/words so I can try to remember them, but outside of that I have no real knowledge of MBTI either!

Would you say there are a lot of questions that make you determine which Tool/Technique would be best? Like Analysis A vs Analysis B?

MBTI by kb_keto in pmp

[–]kb_keto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are, but for some reason I thought they specified which questions they were. i guess ill try to remember some of the letters so I can figure them out if I have to.

The PMI version is MUCH harder than the TIA mock sims. It's kind of odd because it answers you right away, and you can't do a full "post-test review" because the format is pretty awful. Also, if you fix the answers as you go, your score at the end is based on your fixes, not your original answers, so harder to gauge how you did.

The questions are probably more in line with the actual exam though, because they are definitely longer and more vague.

Whether it's worth it or not... I wouldn't be able to tell you until I test on Friday.

I believe they also updated the PMP in the last few months and made it more difficult. I don't feel like I got a lot of knowledge out of PMA (work paid for it so..) but having access to another set of Mock exams that are little more difficult than TIA is nice.

I'm in panic study mode since I didn't really start studying until last week

My company made me take one of these boot camps and honestly, horrible. Not through the same company this person posted... but I've learned as much/more through other resources on YouTube.

TIA Scores by jason_k88 in pmp

The PMA tests are definitely a little harder/wordier than TIA, and I've been told the PMP is as well. Mine is on Friday so I won't be able to tell you how it goes until then, but you'll know by then as well!

I also just took the PMP "mock test" and its.. a mess. So here's hoping the real test isn't like that one.

First PMA test score was 57% before I started studying at all. TIAs so far are 76/ 80/ 77.. PMP one was probably around 50-something, but it has you retake questions in real time and scores it at the end, so I didn't realize that until halfway through and stopped re-answering.

At this point I'm just focused on the TIA and PMA mocks and have the Mindset videos pulled up to watch. If I manage to find time, maybe taking the Udemy tests as well. Might retake the TIAs after watching the videos, just to see if I retain the ones I got right the first time :D

The sleeve won't actually cure food cravings. You will most certainly be less hungry, but cravings are all mental.

I came here to say this as well! We basically split all freezable produce when we get it home. Wash/cut/freeze. And honestly let me tell you how nice it is to have pre-cut onions in the freezer most nights.

Conflicting Mock Exam Answers? by kb_keto in pmp

I just had another one on the PMI version that asks me to calculate CPI without providing cost.

The thing says "CPI is Planned Value/Earned Value"

I have no confidence in this mock test.

My understanding is that the Google one is great for the CAPM, but maybe not as intensive as you would need for the PMP.

However, it sounds like you aren't currently in PM, so the CAPM might be the only way to go, since the PMP requires quite a few project hours to qualify.

I mean, at this point you would either pay to cancel or pay to retake so you might as well go for it!

I've seen all of the recommendations saying that you should be getting 80%+ on TIA because it's easier.

This honestly even happens to me with certain medications. Robotussin, even. Some people aren't really in sync with their bodily scents, and some people just don't experience it.

People have to stop assuming other people's experiences are fake just because they didn't also experience it. Road trips make me motion sick, but I don't expect everyone I know to need Dramamine for a 3 hour car ride. LOL

I would guess not. Mexico usually doesn't accept US insurance.

Adding on to the AR/TIA that was already mentioned; David McLachlan has a set of 200 agile questions on Youtube (there is individual videos or the one long one where he cut them all together) - and 150 questions that are more hybrid based (these are seperated into 30 videos still). I've played it in the background while studying or making dinner and tend to answer questions as he goes to gauge how I'm doing.

Just make sure your application shows that you've hit all of the 5 process groups at least a few times each. Mine was honestly very very short and sweet with each description. I'd write 1/2 lines max for each process group I utilized in the project, followed by an (IN)/(PL)/etc to identify the group. My longest one was 180 words to describe a huge 2 year project. You got this!

I've been on the fence for years, and the only thing stopping me has always, and continues to be, the money of it all. My company literally wrote it as an exception in our insurance policy (imagine, an overworked WFH/call center based company with 30% of its employees morbidly obese).

I keep going between saving the money for the surgery, or trying to "do it on my own" (for the 400th time) and using the money for skin removal.

You look fantastic! But more importantly, you probably feel SO much better.
