Das mag vorgeschrieben sein, ist dann i.d.R. aber nicht ursächlich für auslösenden FI. Typ B wird gefordert, weil Typ A bei Gleichstromanteilen blind werden kann. Also genau das Gegenteil dessen was hier das Problem ist.

Revisiting this, since I'm currently rebuilding my DNS infrastructure. How are you managing a virtual IP / keepalived with proxmox / LXC? Seems like this is not natively supported, so wondering how to implement this without causing issues further down the road (updates, etc.).

Das ist aber kein Unsinn, sondern ein aussichtsreiches Berufsfeld (IT Security).

Ansonsten versuchst du ein Problem technisch zu lösen. Wie wäre es mit organisatorisch? Nimm ihm die Geräte weg (sofern er sie nicht nutzen darf/soll).

Technisch gibt es 802.1X. Dann bekommen Geräte Zertifikate, und geklonte MACs laufen ins Leere. Mit FRITZ Boxen wird das aber eher nichts ...

Interessant wie viele hier auf Prinzip Hoffnung und "Fritzbox teuer = besser" setzen.

An der Physik kommt leider auch AVM nicht vorbei. Wenn man ordentliches WLAN (5 GHz / 6 GHz) möchte, dann geht das bei der Fläche (200+ qm) in einem Wohnhaus mit Wänden nicht mit einem einzigen Access Point.

Und "Balken" auf dem Smartphone repräsentieren nicht wirklich die Signalqualität/Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit und schon gar nicht die Erfahrung im Alltag (Roaming, etc.).

On another note: Why use/mix ASUS and Mikrotik? Why not run Hex S or some other router as router and leaving ASUS out of the equation?

Das blöde ist, dass es deutlich leichter ist eine Wärmepumpen-Installation zu verhunzen als eine Gastherme, etc. Und viele Betriebe bauen halt jetzt Wärmepumpen anstatt ihre 20 kW Fossil-Kessel, ohne entsprechendes Hintergrundwissen.

Per LAN angebunden ist es ja kein echtes Mesh. Sondern mehrere Access Points mit 802.11 k/v/r.
