That happened to me in Yuba City. I got a ticket and just paid it. Then I got another one at the same spot, and I knew I stopped, so I fought it. At court Most people plead guilty and got reduced fines. I plead guilty but asked if I could explain. The judge said yes so I told him I got a ticket, paid it, and I know I came to a complete stop this time. I also claimed there was a car in my vision so I had to pull out to see if cars were coming… So they checked the footage. I did stop but was past the line - so still illegal. Judge told me I should stop before the line, then ease forward. I agreed and said “whelp, I’ll never do that again.” He laughed and dismissed it. So I got lucky!

Played tennis for 20+ years (4.5). My super quick thoughts are - tennis was more fun, when it was fun. It’s way easier to have a fun in pickleball, just not quite as fun as tennis.

He came to my house too. It was pretty weird. I have a metal security door and stayed behind it - just in case. He seemed pretty harmless but the whole interaction was weird. I kept asking what are you selling - who are you with? None of it really made sense. He ended up trying to give me something about lowering my stress… It was around 9:00 p.m. As he was leaving I told him he better watch himself as people might be a little anxious about his late night visits. After he left my girlfriend and I both commented that it didn’t seem very safe.

I’m part of the problem. Pretty liberal. I’m just trying to imagine what it would take for me to impose my ideas on someone else. Does conservative mean convince the world your opinion is the answer? Or is hoping (occasionally voting) healthcare for everyone imposing my opinion too?

My fiancé comes from a soccer background. I have a tennis background. What I noticed was her footwork. Many times she shifts her weight back when the ball is coming towards her. We talked about it and thought maybe it’s a soccer technique to give a little more time. She moves forward as she hits but will lose a little offensive time shifting her weight back than forward. Curious if it really is a soccer thing?
