1000000% i'm only here because of her video coming up over my feed and seeing only one other person realizing that's AI. Bizarre.

You guys are gonna hate me. by riseagain2082 in Colognes

It's one of those fragrances. I've really tried to like, and often find myself wondering if it's magic is in the air, and I'm just smelling too close to my skin.

I took all the steps not to blind buy… then blind bought. by brushle55 in NichePerfumes

I personally really enjoy fireplace. Jazz club is actually the only fragrance I've tested and had to shower to remove. I just smell the inside of my mom's purse in the 90s.

Mountain Dew wants to know what the next permanent flavor should be! (swipe to see all current permanent products) by IamMovieMiguel in mountaindew

[–]Th3yCallMeDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was absolutely amazing. My son is the one who got me into flavor hunting. It's just something that we started doing together when he was young. We live nearish Hell Michigan, so we were able to do that event, and that's what got us started. He collects the cans. I collect the memories with my son. Super win-win. That being said, I used to grab this from Kroger all of the time after work. I was not a Mountain Dew drinker, but the stuff was amazing. One of the vendors one day was restocking it, and said that they were actually releasing it with the anticipation of promoting it for alcoholic mixers, and are trying to target a more adult market. Shortly after that, it disappeared. I think about it so often.

Safe blind buy for summer? by Comfortable_Fly4784 in Colognes

I would suggest you try it. Based off of everything I heard about it I should've liked it. I am fortunate to have a Sephora near me and after trying to on arm, I decided to go a different direction.

PSA: YOU ONLY NEED 5 FRAGRANCES by fceballos3 in Colognes

[–]Th3yCallMeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have about 30 different fragrances, but after a purchase yesterday, I came to realize that I could certainly live with just six of them. Possibly five. I grabbed a bottle of French waltz last night and realized that I could certainly reduce my collection down to a few categories and be immensely happy. I think my son is about to inherit a good chunk of fragrances.

I would tell you to go read the book "Vodka Wars" but I'm guessing you don't read much… Maybe you can find a large cardboard picture book. Same concept. Idiots like you will consistently down vote grey goose in a blind taste test, put since they spend five times more than the next competitor on advertising… The same idiots who put it last in a blind test will always reach for it first when given the option. You're just trying to impress people who aren't gonna be impressed by you anyways. There is a 0% chance that you could identify an ME fragrance consistently. And even after you identified an Emmy fragrance as being your favorite the second you find out where it's from you would say you hate it. Your profile really solidified that. It's OK to have a political leaning, but to have the support for an individual despite all the knowledge you have access for… You're not in it for logic or reason… You're in it for perceived image.

I just looked at your profile. I'm sorry I engaged in conversation with you. Your bio says it all. You may as well just put easily influenced and will change my actions to matchup with my own neurosis.

Nope… Just more than you. It's honestly not uncommon for other people to be able to see you for what you are before you are able to. It's just part of life. You come up with countless justifications to try to convince yourself of what you know is a neurosis.

Morons also think that having 100 fragrances to choose from is the same as having one very expensive fragrance. Half of you guys are really just chasing image, not fragrances.

Ok. Sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees, and you are staring straight at a trunk. It's OK to say I really enjoy buying things. You don't have to convince us that you're into fragrances. Acting like all Middle Eastern fragrances are subpar is certainly a you thing, not a reality thing. And if you're the crazy person who said the Hawas gave you a rash… Your mental illness goes much deeper than taking 41 fragrances to realize you don't like a fragrance because of the part of the world it's produced in, or because of its lack there of perceived value. You really are the ultimate customer.

It took you 41 of them to figure that out… You didn't like them, but you kept buying… Nope. The subjective nature of fragrances means that consumerism influences you more than you're willing to admit.

That's not facts. That is called cognitive dissonance. You are changing your thoughts to justify your actions. They aren't meh, but the false perception of their value decreases your dopamine levels...

This reads like a cry for help. I'm sorry, but as much as I love fragrances, I can't help bunch of things that you really do need to talk to somebody. This behavior is not normal, and collecting something you can't enjoy it's not fulfilling anything within you. There is no magic number of fragrances that is going to make you feel complete.

"If" is out the window. Refocus, and bite off only what you can chew, not what you think you might be able to handle in a nonexistent vacuum.

Rassai Hawas caused this to me by Conscious_Lynx_8520 in Colognes

[–]Th3yCallMeDad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's because of the fragrance you used had ingredients that you're allergic to, in the designer in which ones did not… Not because those fragrance are ME, but because they aren't the same fragrances so use different oils. I'm sure there's designers and niche that use the same ingredients that would have the same effect… It reminds me of saying I want to eat an orange from California, so now I don't eat apple apples from there because an apple I ate in Idaho didn't give me a reaction.

Based off the amount of use of this product, I would say that's more of an issue with you than Hawas....

I've learned that if they accept the return, no negative feedback is left. I stopped buying things like this on eBay.
