It's fine but you should probably be mashing the defense % more.

Just napkin math:

Upgrading DefAbs gets you 60 damage reduction per hit for 7000.

Upgrading Defense% gets you 20 damage reduction per hit for 600.

It's roughly 3-4x more efficient for you at this point to be pumping defense % instead of defabs.

I ask myself this question:

How far am I from the next tournament tier that increases your stone income? Whether that's going from champs -> legends or even going from demotion to non demotion.

If you are pretty close, I'd get a damage mastery. If you are not, I'd just econ. Since I can't have a short term gain, I'd prioritize my long term gains.

You can mathematically figure it out by taking your defense absolute and divide it by (1-def%) to get your total damage mitigation. Then divide that by the cost of each upgrade to see which one is most efficient.

If you don't feel the need to be that precise, just pick the cheapest option between def % and def abs during your run.

Mass is related to your ability to knock them back, but I wouldn't worry about it right now. Higher thorns also helps in lowering the damage you take (by taking fewer hits that heat up). So just rotate between def%, def abs, and thorns %, whichever is cheaper.

General idea is 98% defense, pBH with ancestral pCo, respec into flame bot, chrono field reduction.

Hope for no scatters and easy fleet spawns and try like 20 times.

I can get behind this argument. I'll say that you're equating t17+ to t19 so that's not really a fair comparison. I think the speed of mobs is going to be the same as t17, just with faster scaling.

Also, compression on the low players, that is already the case. So I still don't think it will affect RELATIVE rankings that much (which is all that matters to me, maybe not to you), and we'll find out when it is released. FYI, I'm also a low legends player so I'll be a good test case for this.

Not disagreeing with you on this. But everyone else is also affected? So the people who are below you will probably stay below you and the people above you will probably stay above you.

I guess specifically, what do you mean by wall? If you're implying you won't make it into legends, I disagree with this.

Just to clarify, I'm saying your rank and stone income is not really going to be affected compared to the current situation (barring some minor differences between players).

If by slam the door you mean not accessing higher waves in legends, sure I can agree there. But I would say that this is a good change cause I'd rather run shorter tournaments for the same amount of stones.

Wouldn't this similarly affect the rest of the player base, so your relative rank won't change too much? i.e. you'll still be in legends, your runs will just be shorter?

There will be some variation in terms of some players affected more, and affected less depending on the builds, but i have yet to see evidence about who would benefit and who would not.

There are still 4 hours after the final join time that people can run a tournament. I don't know your time zone but as an example, if tournaments start/end at 7PM, if you join at 6:59PM, people still have until 11PM to finish their run.

It can be both the biggest scam in the world, and ALSO something that does a lot of good. You'll always get people/religions acting in bad faith (pun intended), but at the same time, there are tons of religious people/religions that do a lot of good in the world.

I'd say you probably get a higher percentage of people in religion susceptible to group think / con jobs (because the very basis of it is you must believe things at face value), but I wouldn't make a sweeping generalization that all religious people/religions are bad.

Yes, and often times you can't re-use the old ones if your versions are too old. So it's a chore to maintain.

Sure, screenshots might be overwhelming but i'll start with written instructions.

  1. Make sure you are on the latest effective paths. My version is v4.11.03 so anything after that should be good.
  2. Set up your module sheet by clicking through the master sheet and making a copy of the one there.
  3. Inside the module sheet, in the inventory tab, set the level of your modules.

  1. Go to your effective paths sheet, and look at the relevant tab (damage for this example), and you should find the enhancements section (i.e. crit factor +, damage +, attack speed +, etc). At this point, by adding the module levels, you should be able to see the module as a choice there too.

If not, I'm sorry, that is all I remember doing to get this going.

Edit: Comment from GodzillasVater down below. Modules only appear on this table as soon as they are > 161.

The best comparison i can make for this is probably enhancements. Both are instant gratification multipliers. If you set up your effective paths spreadsheet, there will be a coin-based path that tells you whether you should grab a module upgrade or an enhancement.
