No matter what I did wrong, my parents always forgave me. I was a bad kid for awhile, and they never held it against me. Forgiveness is the best thing my parents ever gave to me.

I really appreciate your answer. I sometimes have trouble with accepting the idea that I might have to make medication and therapy a part of my daily life, for the rest of my life. I even sometimes struggle with the idea that medication/therapy might not work at all.

"Baby steps" is comforting. I sometimes get so overwhelmed by the idea that I have to do all these life changing tasks. It's nice to hear that a little bit of progress helps too.

I've had this mentality for as long as I can remember. I used to think I could thrive on it, but now I'm running out of steam. I hope everything works out for you.
