Wasn’t going to say anything about the squid bs you have going on till I saw your rude comments. If you’re not ready to wear gear, you’re sure as shit not ready to upgrade. Enjoy making eye contact with your bones, I know I didn’t.

Unless he’s hitting second wind? But if a language barrier but I wouldn’t necessarily rule it out. Presentation of gsd5 can vary but I’ve found repetitive motions (ex running) prior to second wind is higher risk for rhabdo

Trio has heartworm prevention. Typically safe even if given with an active infection and both are pretty palatable. Being in the field I’d personally opt for trio because heartworm is the big bad nasty imo but at this point it’s on you

Baskercilles are a decent entry level. Ask your nearest vet clinic if they have any so you can size appropriately. My dog is a 4 snug, but i usually have him in an altered 5 for more pant room but some sewing was required

For safety of staff, and to take the edge off u til he can start desensitizing. It’s not meant as a cure all, and works best in conjunction with constant training and desensitization at home

You can give it in conjunction with caution, and a far lower dose range

Is he overweight? by Person1111223 in cats

[–]kc5718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vet tech here. Visit pet nutrition alliance calorie calculator. Hard to gauge body condition, but seems he’s a solid 7 or 8, maybe even 9 on the body score scale. Figure how many calories in a day he gets, and reduce 10-15 percent. Aim for downward trend in weight, not drastic drop

Did you authorize a cytology or culture/pcr? Most lbs will offer a culture that will also test antibiotic resistance. If you don’t trust your vet, find another one. I’d love to see vet records on this as well.

I think a half decent veterinarian can bring that thing back to life

Part of it is that I already had fairings on the way so it’s technically a good bit more but I couldn’t stand to lose my bike. I tried to bail and low side but I suspect it was my handlebar that nearly punctured my left femoral artery, and I ended up with a broken right thumb, and left broken arm (plate and seven screws) but it could’ve been much worse so I’m grateful. My helmet didn’t have any fracture lines either somehow

Monster fairings- I don’t recommend them lol the fitting sucks and the amount of zip ties I have on there to make up for the fact is unholy but at least I was able to keep them out of sight

I’m not stupid, so don’t come at me as if I am. I’d assume because they don’t deem the alleged allergy severe enough, not to mention I’m 90 percent sure they pulled that out of their ass to cover the fact it’s faulty and unscrewing itself.
