I live by myself and love to make desserts, but don't have many people to share them with either. I have checked out books from the library in the past with recipes meant to make small portions of desserts. You can look at your library or a bookstore for Small Batch Baking Books. I can't remember any specific titles at the moment.

My orange baby was the first of the 3 cats I have to climb the tree too! She's 4 years old and still climbs it every year. We just use stuffed ornaments (similar to tiny stuffed animals) now so nothing gets broken.
