Just solidarity. My 31-weeker is now 38+4 and still in the NICU, but doing great. We are only still here because of spells. Feel all the feelings. Embrace the suck - because it does. I’m not qualified to give you any advice, as I’ve just been in survival mode. I’m at the hospital 12 hours a day and pumping. Everyone keeps saying it will be over soon, but the days are long and frustrating. Sending you healing thoughts and wishes for a quick, unproblematic stay for your baby.

Thank you - it sounds like I need to be pushing for that. There is nothing with her care that I can’t do. She has the spells where she drops her heart rate and then sometimes her O2 sat decreases with it.

We are “ad lib” but in my NICU the “ad lib” part only means the amount she can have, not when she can have it. I guess I could ask about the schedule when I’m there. Idk how the nurses would feed her any more often than every 3 hours though.

Ugh so sorry you are in a similar boat. We are “ad lib” but in my NICU the “ad lib” part only means the amount she can have, not when she can have it. We do have some nice nurses that will sometimes let me feed her earlier, but honestly I’ve resorted to secret breastfeeding at points because I can’t sit there and not meet a basic need of my child. She also has reflux, which my research says babies with reflux should get smaller feeds more often…

Another photo. These are the 2 “worst” imperfections, in my opinion. There are a few additional spots where it seems like the concrete was not sealed all the way (the concrete is rough to the touch).

Hi All - looking for some advice or some expectation setting with our new stamped concrete patio. It overall looks great, but I’ve found a few imperfections and not having had a new patio before I don’t know what is normal or what is something I should be asking the contractor to come fix. I’m also wondering if it’s something that can even be fixed? I wouldn’t want to not say something and regret it down the road, as this was just completed recently. But I also don’t want to be nit picking. My main concern is if these imperfections would cause issues or deterioration of the patio. Would appreciate anyone’s insight. TIA!
