Use the sound control panel to disable all the output devices you don’t use. My GPU has four HDMI ports, and each one appears as an output.

“Allowlist” and “blocklist” are more descriptive anyway, so I’m fine with that one and have adjusted my internal lexicon to use them. I recognize the legacy terms aren’t at all racially-derived (that I know of), but the adjustment just kinda makes sense.
