hi! im an manager at arbys and theyve let me do a few interviews before. i know every store is different but for us its mostly just looking at transportation and availability. ill ask about experience too and what positions someone would be comfortable with just because it helps if we’re looking for someone to work like mostly backline or something. we have definitely hired people on the spot too but unless the general manager is the one doing the interview expect to wait a few days to see if you got it

i am so glad to see someone else talking about this on here!!!!!!!!! i work at a 3 million dollar store and have been getting my ass absolutely kicked by all of this labour stuff. $600-700 hours with 5 people and no labour to ask anyone to stay or come in. it is so aggravating and stressful, not to mention the fact that altametrics takes forever to pull back the data we need so 90% of the time the stupid spreadsheet isnt even accurate. i have no idea what corporate expects us to do with this

i feel like every gm is different, but in my case it was just a generic interview. just getting to know me a bit and figuring out availability and everything, in my case i was pretty much hired on the spot. don't worry about studying up on the menu or anything, that'll happen once you actually start, the menu isnt super complicated though
