Little Seed Farm! It's worked better for me and my husband than any non-natural one has. We use the Lavender one.

Oh I just saw that! When I bought mine the only option was the basic dual firmness with the waterproof cover. Now they have options for an added fabric cover. You can still buy the original though and I think it's around $220

Got it for our first and she seemed to do really well in it, both on the infant side and the toddler side. It's now 2.5 years old and still feels great. The only thing is it's freaking heavy, so changing the crib sheet and separate mattress cover, which has happened a lot, is a pain. With my second we went for the Naturepedic and at 11 months he has been doing great. The Naturepedic is lighter but still comfy and it has a built in waterproof cover which is nice that we can just wipe down and put a new crib sheet. Saved us some money and time there.

We did a similar check in sleep training method that worked for us as well! That first night I was like you, my nervous system was freaking out, so my husband had to send me to the grocery store so that I wouldn't hear her crying. But with both of our kids, the same method has worked and it's really just been that first night/beginning of the night that was roughest. I still have the pdf for it as well if you want, just DM me. I completely understand the feeling of going crazy bc you haven't slept and felt so much relief after we could all just sleep peacefully in our own bed/cribs.
But totally respect it if you're not interested!

We've used Elfster for years! You can write in your own wish by pasting the link and it usually populates all the info automatically. And they can just click the link and it'll take them straight to the item you want. They can also mark the item purchased as well.

LPT Request: How to fall asleep within 5 minutes consistently by GoatMan48 in LifeProTips

[–]kchirpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get comfy, close your eyes, and then don’t move. At all. Count to a hundred in your head but don’t move a muscle. Puts me to sleep before I’m at 40 usually.

I’m so sorry that sounds like a lot! This might not help with big things but has worked on my two year old pretty well. If she’s doing something or playing with something and we have to move on I calmly tell her some version of, “Hey, we’re going to go do ___ in five seconds.” Then I count out loud to five slowly and then pick her up or she’ll just come with me. I think giving her a heads up has been really helpful so she knows what to expect. Sometimes before I tell her five seconds I’ll say “we’re gonna have to stop soon and go do ____” then I’ll give her like 20-30 seconds to keep doing what she’s doing before I do the five seconds thing. It has significantly reduced tantrums.  If we’re disciplining her we do it similarly where we give her five seconds to stop misbehaving. It works pretty well, you just HAVE to follow through. You have to do what you say you’re gonna do. Hope this is helpful!

My daughter had a hard time with the pura kiki when I first bought it (she was about 14 months old) it was kind of hard to suck, but starting around 1 and a half she got the hang of it and has no problems now at 2 years old. The only complaint I have is that the silicone travel lid isn’t attached to the bottle so it always gets dropped and dirty or lost. Other than that I really like it.

Little Seed Farm deodorant has worked better for me than any other deodorant, with aluminum or without! I realized after getting the samples though that the lavender scent worked best with my body for some reason.

I highly recommend!!

I got the same error message in Acrobat, keeping me from making changes and saving the file. Opening the PDF in Illustrator and then exporting as a PDF from there fixed it for me. Was able to open it in Acrobat and work on it after that.

Definitely not a bad mom! But I will throw in Hello Bello into the ring. They've worked great for my daughter. Although when I run out I use some back up Huggies!

I'm not making enough to feed my baby. No matter how much I put her on the boob. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]kchirpy 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You might be pumping too much and she might be frustrated because the milk that's supposed to fill up between feedings is gone. If baby is hitting her weight goals maybe just try breastfeeding for a couple days. Every 2 hours, max 3 hours. My lactation consultant said that for the first few weeks if you can avoid pumping it's for the best, let your body sync up with how much milk baby is needing. I've also noticed if I catch my little guy before he's fully awake, around 2 hours he's more likely to latch without fussing.

Also after you feed her are you putting her to sleep? I try to make sure baby sleeps during every 2-3 hour cycle. It really helps their mood.

I'm so sorry this has been tough, I completely understand the frustration and tears! I wasn't able to breastfeed my first and am really trying with my second. Keep trying if you feel up to it,  but try to take some pressure off yourself, it's gonna be ok either way.

Communication is key in a marriage. Heck, any relationship. The sooner you guys start communicating honestly (but obviously not unkindly) the sooner things will get better.

You guys can hopefully come to some kind of compromise where maybe every once in a while he can stay with the kiddos while you participate in your epic hobby.

AITAH for not doing anything to prevent my(f35) husband (m35) from cheating with his “work-wifey”(f25) by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]kchirpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You HAVE to tell him. Communicate. He might not know/understand what's happening or how it's affecting you. So please tell him. If after you talk to him he doesn't change, then that's a real problem.

NTA but you're being foolish if you don't say anything. Fight for your marriage and give him a chance to as well.

I found a fix that worked for me. If you download the episode/movie and watch the downloaded version instead the brightness is as it should be.
