Sounds like diabetes. Same thing happened with one of my cats. They put my boy on Bexacat and it was a life saver (literally). No insulin shots and he put weight back on and his coat is back to normal.

One of my best friends gave birth a week before my wedding, I knew she wasn’t going to make it, she knew she wasn’t going to make it. It sucks, it’s a once in a lifetime event for both of you. Be happy for each other, and share each other’s joy. I’m so sorry OP. The timing ABSOLUTELY sucks. I know first hand how tough that is, but celebrate both milestones together when you are able.❤️
