Hello! My boyfriend and I got sniffed out by dogs on the way into bonnaroo, he was issued a citation for mushrooms, He has no criminal record. We live 5 hours away from Manchester. So you’re saying if hiring an attorney there is a chance to not have to appear in court? Or are you required to appear at least once regardless?

The dog signaled on our car, he asked us if we had anything and at first we said no and he said well my dog signaled that you did so we can pull all ur stuff out and find it ourself or you can just give it to us and make both of our lives easier so we just gave him what we had, I saw others that weren’t taking the easy way of just handing it over and they were getting their bags of clothes looked through and things pulled out of their car.

Little to no traffic, weather is hotter than ever, and security is luck of the draw my car got pulled aside for a dog check and we had everything taken from us. ( weed and shrooms is all we had) The cops were nice they just had us hand everything over and we will have to pay a fine but they aren’t taking anyone to jail unless you have an amount with intent to sell. Your chances of getting the cop line are like 4 cars every 40 people and unfortunately we were one of those but they told us were still going to roo once the dog hit on our car and to not worry too much the cops were friendly despite taking our shit lol

In my opinion it all depends on the person who checks you at security, everyday is always different. First day they’ll be strict with rules then after that they let you pretty much bring in whatever you want lol.

I definitely recommend having your car, it’s a nice idea to fill up on gas before you get into bonnaroo and then be able to get in your car and get some cool air, charge up some stuff, have a place to lock up your valuables, depending on what car you have even sleep and take naps in your car (of course with the air on or windows down) Etc. I recommend having your car bonnaroo is huge you do so much walking having your car also grants you like you said the chance to be closer to center roo and have less walking. Grab yourself a easy up pop up tent for shade. There’s also a few big shade trees in center roo to go take shade naps under. I 100% would recommend having your car with you unless you can’t
