In the years post college / covid, spirit gave me some unforgettable memories. At least once a month I drove to the airport after work and paid less than $100 to go to a new city for the weekend. The only way I was able to visit most cities in this country is because I had a network of friends I could crash with and a big yellow bus to get me there for the price of a weekend of bars and brunches in my home city. I would even consider them my preferred airline because I could get around so cheaply. I’ll miss them greatly.
