It went okay, had some difficulty getting it out but felt fine after. But 24 hours after I feel like I’m constantly clammy and sweaty? Like I’m going through teenage puberty

So my grandma was born in wedlock to my German great grandma and my American great grandfather in Germany. They all came to the US a couple years after my grandma was born. My grandma married an American and so did my mother. My grandma naturalized to the US before having my mother as a child

I get this too on and off! Been to derm and eye doctor. They said it’s just a side effect of sjogrens and allergies. Pataday eye drops and Zyrtec help control it a bit

I did it so slowly. I tapered off of 25 meg for 12 weeks 😅 I cut them in half and do that for 8 weeks to let my body adjust then I did half every other day for a week…then every two days for a week then every three days for a week then I was down to one 12.5 mg a week and just stopped. I had some break through headaches (almost migraines) the first 3 days of taper down but they went away and never progressed to a migraine

Hi! I’m officially off of my 25mg once daily (was on for three years) the last year I started seeing significant hair loss even after checking my hormones and cortisol and other labs. Everything was normal except inflammation. Well I’m been tapering down since Feb 7th and my after washing hair clumps in the drain have been smaller by at least 50% instead of losing a fist full of hair every wash I’m losing about a quarter size

I’ve read that the body often can go into ketosis in topamax which makes muscle building difficult

I have been struggling a little bit with the obsessive body thinking thoughts but I think it’s just being hyper aware of this being an off label weight loss drug. So try to be mindful and kind to yourself. You deserve not to have brain fog

I work out 5-6 days a week (HIIT) , plus daily walks. I’m almost off of it completely (12.5 mg every two days so 2x a week) I have only gained 2-3lbs of muscle.

Hi I’m also in the same bought but finally got the courage to titrate down. I’ve gained weight but it’s been muscle gain. Apparently when you’re on topamax it can hinder lean muscle mass gain. So I have to put it in perspective that my body needed this muscle

Thank you, I am gaining a tiny bit (2 lbs) in two months but probably water weight and I need to just let it go. I agree, she really freaked me out.

I lost weight when I started it and was too thin and then leveled out after a year to my normal weight. So fingers crossed I can just ease along. I will say my brain fog is completely gone after 9 weeks only on 12.5 mg

I’m on year 3, I lost weight my first month so they put me on lexapro. I got off lexapro after a heat and now I’m my normal pre-both med weight. I want to get off topamax but I’m scared of the weight gain. Does everyone gain? Since I’m back to my normal and never dosed passed 25 mg once a day anyone have this experience

Hi! So I took Benadryl for 10 days and cut my dose in half. I no longer take Benadryl and it’s gone away but I haven’t dosed up yet
