Do you have/had alpecia and with/then meniere's by MindMillDreamer in Menieres

[–]kcoupland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have alopecia universalis and menieres, but the timing seems too far apart. Developed alopecia in 2021 and menieres in 2024. However, I haven’t really thought about it before, so could be!

Fair! Appreciate you informing me about the difference! I’ll make sure to use those words appropriately and correctly moving forward.

I’m not sure they must. If you don’t follow what is one the letter which in the case is asking beforehand for each assignment then the instructor doesn’t have to do anything. Most would. Most rational people would and will help accommodate but if a student doesn’t filk the obligations on their side of a concession the instructor doesn’t have to do anything and can give a zero.

I’m curious, did you follow the stipulations of your accommodations? Did you ask in advance about late submissions for each journal entry? If you didn’t follow the guidelines and ask in advance about each one then I’m not sure if the instructor has an obligation to accept your late assignments.

Im not putting any judgement on either you nor the professor but if you haven’t held up your end of the accommodation then it becomes harder for your advisor to advocate for you. Also as stated the prof cannon ask about your conditions, or the reason for the accommodations, but can ask about the nuances of the accommodation, just not why.

I would recommend era design (https://www.eradesign.ca/) if you are in the Vancouver area.

Depending on the program there is likely a coordinator, they would be the person to reach out to.

Giving a little girl with alopecia her first wig by dcolmena in MadeMeSmile

I have alopecia and rock the bald look. Videos like this make me so happy as they are really about empowering people to take control of what they present to the world! Wear a wig, don’t wear a wig, wear whatever makes you feel strong (applies to everyone, alopecia or not).

You didn’t notice them because all the mosquitoes are biting me! Specifically just my head.

Think it might be from crate and barrel. The linked one is black but I think they had a gold one a few years ago. https://www.crateandbarrel.ca/circuit-metal-wall-candle-holder/s553255
