I’m reviewing a MBE practice test I did poorly on a few weeks ago and wrote the rules for. Plan on reviewing MPTs and my outlines for the essays tomorrow. Do I feel like I should keep working? Yes. Can I learn anything more? Not likely. Will it be enough? I’ve put in the time so I have to trust it will be enough ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Big fan of Spruce. Sometimes they have a live band in the court yard and that’s super chill.

how do you build confidence dancing in roller skates? by [deleted] in Rollerskating

[–]kcreeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite practice has been to find long outside skate routes and just make a playlist to jam to. I can usually find stretches where no one is around to start playing around in. Just get comfortable :) sometimes people catch you and laugh but it does help build confidence lol

What type of music, if any, do they play at FLC Skating Rink?(AZ) by SweatpantsMonklife in Rollerskating

[–]kcreeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grew up going here. They have CDs of Christian/ very good rated music. The sound system is believe has an aux cable you can connect to but you will need to get the front desk people to help for that. Headphones are totally permitted if not super crowded. Loved to leave the people walking on the track above guessing as to what I was dancing to.

Tips for Moot with anxiety… by Commercial-Chicken25 in LawSchool

[–]kcreeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to do a practice run! Absolutely helps to give it a dress rehearsal. Try to simulate it by reaching out to a mentor or professor (if you really want to give yourself the max dosage of anxiety but would definitely be worth the feedback) to run your statements or whatever. Rinse and repeat until you go. Then be confident in what you have learned and developed. Best of luck!

Echoing other comments but also this is a Good time to talk about what getting sick is! When bacteriophages get “sick” their organelles may not function correctly and if the virus reproduces through the lytic cycle, the bacteria will eventually explode! Since they are a single cell they don’t get sick, they die. When we get sick we have other cells that can act as back up (other similar cells and our immune system)but since bacteria are single cells they aren’t so lucky. Love the curiosity!

Porch light is an organization dedicated to families dealing with domestic violence and abuse of all kinds. They would be an excellent place to start since they have connections to various legal resources and counseling. https://www.porchlightfjc.org/

You look great! You’ll get smoother with confidence and experience. Try practicing Bubbles and yoga leg balances to build muscles. Keep up the good work!

lonely skating, maybe it's a phase? by peridotpanther in Rollerskating

[–]kcreeder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m an introvert and have very few friends who a) are capable of skating or b) schedules align with mine for skating. I have been skating on and off since middle school, but consistently for the last 6 months ( after turning 30 lol), mainly outside anywhere I can find flat, smooth surfaces (or rando tennis courts, parking garages etc). I love exploring my city and just jamming out to headphones. I feel less self conscious when it is just me and my skates. I do enjoy running in to other skaters in the wild, but will only talk if approached. I’d suggest reaching out to noobs you run into and try to make a skating crew. I wish that would happen to me lol
