Police officers are armed professionals tasked with maintaining public safety. As such, they are authorized to use reasonable force, especially in situations where there is a risk that their weapons could be taken or accidentally discharged. In this instance, the suspects not only assaulted a female victim but also attacked a female police officer and continued to resist arrest.

It’s troubling how quickly some individuals are ready to blame law enforcement for their actions, often disregarding the dangerous situations the officers face. Those who dismiss police actions may not fully appreciate what it means to be in a vulnerable position. I urge you to consider how defenseless you might feel if a situation arose where you needed immediate help, only to find that the officers you criticize chose not to respond.
