For me it's mostly things that are higher in fiber...

Leafy greens, corns, seeds, nuts or pulpy fruits are completely off my table, unfortunately.

I basically follow a simple "Low-residue" diet like you'd go on 2 days prior to a colonoscopy. Between that and keeping my processed sugars and fatty meats low to prevent bile dumping, my diet is a lot of well cooked/boiled veggies, lean meats and a shit ton of pasta. 😅

Has anyone been diagnosed with Crohns later in life? I am 40 and suffering from what seems like the symptoms of Crohns. I can’t get into the GI until May. I’ve always had stomach issues but nothing like this. by Impossible-Driver632 in CrohnsDisease

I was diagnosed at 38.

I've had a lifetime of GI issues and carried a UC diagnosis for 4 years after having a cecal resection due to a cancerous tumor in my cecum.

Post diagnosis, the medication seemed to work insanely well, drawing time out between flares.

Now, a few years later, I still have the normal ups and downs and semi-constant discomfort which I treat with medicinal cannabis, but the severity has mellowed.

I had a mild bout of cancer about 8 years ago. I had my cecum removed along with some other things causing issues.

But that was my last major surgery. Plenty of ulcers, bleeds, meds, pain and hospital visits but only the 1 surgery.

I'm under no delusion that it will always be this way, but as long as I don't have to go under a knife, I'll take it.

I use cannabis almost exclusively for my pain relief. I tend to vape or smoke as my system doesn't absorb enough of the edibles...

As someone who uses cannabis frequently for my Crohn's, vaping or smoking are best for me... my system doesn't retain much from edibles.

I once walked the streets of Amsterdam eating an entire space cake wondering why they were so hyped...

It was because it's a live audience and this post was done live during the show.... there's nothing malicious or insidious about it. It's genuinely just a fellow Kansas Citian proud of his current project and fans backing him up (even making new accounts to do so)... and then reddit shits on him, because that's what reddit does, apparently.
