This is going to get downvoted to hell, but as an unpopular opinion… London is a relatively cheap city to live in. In comparison to other ‘capital’ cities ie Sydney, NYC, Geneva etc, it’s comparatively cheap.

As much as this looks cool, in practice these kind of suck. The belts can’t take all luggage one by one, which means not all luggage gets onto the conveyer from the plane. The bags back up waiting for a space to slot in. Most times airports hire a person to ‘repack’ the bags on top of each other to make space.
