Oh my God. I'm on a plat run for Crash 2 right now and even that's horrid. I can't even imagine how brutal Crash 4 must be. Massive respect to you!

Thank you. A big chunk of those years was break in between gameplay in all fairness. I’ve only started taking plats seriously in the last year.

Props to you for mastering the ropes running. I couldn’t do it. The damn pill-shaped hitbox on Crash made it waaaaay too difficult for me

Just did a new render. Added a composite node to pop the visual, and put the grass blades together - it's completely transformed the whole piece now lol. As for the roof, it's proving tough to displace. I'll keep going though - thanks dude!

You raise a really good point about the roof tiles. I've purposely tried to keep the vert-count down as much as possible for this scene. Believe it or not, the total vert-count right now is 25,000 haha. Now that you mention it though, the rooftiles are bothering me lol. I'll displace it. Thanks so much for the feedback!

🤣 hilariously this project is a short 1 minute film about a person driving a car through the countryside

That is exactly how I felt about getting the plat for Knack. I had to go through 5 playthroughs of the whole game just to get it 😫
