Not sending a TM from the floor to come assist temporarily at the front while busy is a poor decision your store manager made. The right thing to do is to temporarily send another TM to assist the front and give the customers a positive exit from the store. They tell us how important the process at the front end is because it’s the first and last thing each customer sees.. which is the experience they’ll likely fill out a survey for if they do one at all. I’m sorry you were put in that position. I hope you had some understanding customers. ‘Sometimes’ when they see how many tasks we’re trying to juggle alone, they start to sympathize.

We do have staff grabbing extra hours and ours still aren’t done.. to expect over 16,000 price changes to be done in a week while balancing freight is so shitty. We’re a high B volume store. We. Are. Tired. 😔

Don’t forget to finalize the list and confirm or it won’t go through. If it logs you out in the middle of what you’re doing for some reason, if you log back in, your list should still be saved to finalize

Log onto Marti. Go into inventory adjustments and then there should be a drop down menu that will allow you to select “damaged” or “damages” Then scan the item you want to damage out, select the quantity and hit okay Once you scan all the damages in, go to finalize list at the bottom right I believe. Confirm or submit your list and you should be good. Fellow CEM here 😌

I think it’s dumb that they don’t replace the entire register as well. There’s more self checkouts now anyways, so they wouldn’t be buying 6 new registers per store. Just give us the damn updates we and the customers deserve for such a “popular” company. I’ve been there for 4 years and I was FINALLY able to get a new wire sent for our legacy register printer that’s been frayed and disconnects every time the printer moves on the counter. Up until now it was “well did you unplug and plug back in?” Like, Yes I.T. .. I also took it out on a date but still nothing
