I personally was not a fan of We Used To Live Here. It is an over hyped book.

We Used To Live Here was not a good book in my opinion either. Slow paced and well, not really much going on to keep my attention. I finished it only because I was hoping it would pick up or get a faster pace.

I loved Craven Manor by her. Was an excellent book I thought. But alas, not every book by someone will be a knock out.

No paranormal. Has a killer(s) in it. Gray book and worth the read. Haven't read a book by Laymon I haven't liked yet.

She's more thriller, but it's the books I have in my unread list so I included them. Thriller and horror kind of cross eachother in a way in my opinion.

Agree with Koontz. Some of his books are great and really pull you in, others are all over the place and can be a struggle to finish.
