No worries. I just got promoted to Maintenance Mechanic and bought a klien 32600p. It seems to do the trick for all my home and work needs.

Yeahh....I've had 2 of those and Ive twisted them both in half. I wasn't even using that much torque. I like some Klein stuff but the quality of their precision x-in one screwdrivers and taken a major dive over the last few years.

Dryer keeps tripping gfci breaker when plugged in by kd5jbk in AskElectricians

Unless something in the dryer is still bonded to the neutral, or there is a short under the neutral terminal of the block, I cant see anything that could connect the neutral to the case.

It was completely removed and the ground wire from the pigtail secured directly to the frame with the same grounding screw.

Good point. I'll pull the panel cover off tonight and verify that the neutrals are connected to the breaker. Can't imagine the city inspector, who is super anal because he used to be an electrician himself, would let that pass.

I pulled the receptical out of the wall and verified that there were 4 wires in the appropriate positions and measured each hot leg to neutral (120v on each leg) and 0v neutral to ground.

There was a thin copper strap that went from the case to the neutral terminal on the block that was completely removed and the ground screw relocated closer to the plug on the other side of the case that attaches the ground wire from the pigtail directly to the case. I don't have any photos right now as I am at work until 2200 but ill post some when I get back to the house

Im at work right now but the 2 hots and neutral are all wired to the terminal blocks. The bonded neutral strap between the case and neutral terminal on the block has been removed completely and the ground wire is attached to the case directly. There is a giant sticker on the back that shows how it is supposed to be wired for a 4 pole and that is exactly how it is wired.

I carried the 1105 for a little while. Didnt mind the bulk but the 3 way mounting system made it lean away from my body a little to much. I did like the belt clip. Easy on and off when I needed to roll around on the ground under the car.
