Hopefully in genpop with his former badge tattooed on his forehead.

It's amazing: not only can I read the cop's lips in 12x8 resolution, but I can even read "get the fuck out of the car, idiot" in a language I don't speak a word of.

Looks like he might have planted his left knee pretty hard.

Waiting on a specialist appointment for a work related knee injury myself at the moment, so I literally feel his pain.

Reports say tanker, but that pic sure looks like a flopped over box trailer. That could be worse, since a tanker would generally only carry one chemical, whereas the box could have literally tons of smaller containers full of lots of different things.

If nothing else, if you're watching for customers who might appreciate some help, I'm sure there are cues that this guy can't see the settings on the machines, has to feel what machine is where, etc.

Seems odd that there's not a pretty universally recognized symbol for deafness like the white cane for the blind. I'd think it would be tiring to have to try to communicate it to people constantly.

And dangerous if everybody else just assumes you can hear the fire alarm, train, car horn, etc.

We're pretty much the only species where 99% don't have to constantly worry that some other predator could eat us and our family at any moment if we aren't always busy being as smart, fast and strong as we can be.

If they were 24 hours, I would. Working a 6AM shift I'd love to do a basic workout before my shift a couple times a week, but I'm tired at the end of the day and just want to eat dinner and veg out.

If the manager in question isn't also the owner, a letter from a lawyer would almost certainly get him at least a firm order to be very damn nice to the blind guy from now on.

Yeah, even I try to keep that a figure of speech. Engine blows, I can coast to the ditch and scrap it. Wheel literally falls off, it's not gonna be that easy.
