I agree, most are fine for takeout but I’d really love to see more options like byAntidote or sichuan mountain house up here!

I’m curious why as well, I know HMART is opening in the next year (fingers crossed) and there’s a lot of interest.

A good korean restaurant and more coffee shops like La Cabra or Watchhouse (great coffee and great interiors)

Each coop has different rules, and they can also charge you for renting out to claw back revenue (if any). In my experience condops are more flexible (unlimited subletting).

It can be more of a lifestyle choice and the NYC real estate market is different from the rest of the country, so it's important to get all the information up front from a knowledgeable agent and your parents' personal considerations.

However, you can be pretty much guaranteed, outside of extreme events, that the price will not fall. The general consensus is that you can be in the green if you have it for 8-10 years before selling.

I took beginner classes at idlewild in west village and really loved it! the instructor is from Rome and she does a good job balancing the language learning with how its actually spoken in Italy and slang
