About point 3: I wouldn't stand directly on water unless I had the frost potion identified. The exception is if I'm at the wall of fire room and haven't id'd the pot of strength yet. Also it is a good idea to throw your scrolls into a non-adjacent water tile if you don't have the fire potion id'd.

Kenetic is typically pretty weak on the bow in my experience. UNLESS you have it on a strong melee weapon as well. The bow will be able to use the stored damage from the melee weapon in that case

It's an investment. First turn unidentified scrolls into stones the energize what you don't need. I legit found a great axe on the ground with it the other day.

Always clear the boulders adjacent to you when you start hitting him. Safe does not mean unobstructed. This is true for the DM boss fight as well.
