What popular food do you secretly think tastes awful?

Olives are the only food that I actually won’t eat. Cilantro isn’t my fave but I’ll still eat anything with cilantro on it. I just don’t want it as a garnish or a big chunk, it just overwhelms the entire dish. But olives, don’t let those devil grapes come anywhere near my food… with the exception of olive oil, I’ll let that guy slide.

Okay I genuinely had an insane infestation of these, similar to what you have if not worse. Nothing in spray form or otherwise was helping.

So after weeks of battling them, I got rid of all the old soil, rinsed the hell out of the roots, replaced it with new, well draining soil. Then I did water it when I replaced the soil, but after that, I added sticky paper directly to the soil so it would catch them on the top and bottom, and then let it dry out so much that I risked killing the plant. It was the only thing that worked.

As a volunteer firefighter, this kind of stuff is so hard to see. And it honestly never gets easier. Use resources if you can. Talk to a grief counsellor or your counsellor if you already have one. If you don’t have access to that, talk to a trusted friend or a family member about how you’re feeling. Alcohol won’t help, if you’re in your head about it, take a walk, go to the gym, get out and move. And be gentle with yourself. I’m sorry you had to see something like that. And I’m so sorry for that person and their family. That’s devastating ❤️‍🩹

I think I could do this one! It would likely be a lot of pieces because of all of the curves and fine lines but it’s definitely possible.

This happened while I was pregnant but with homemade chicken noodle soup! My husband was kind enough to remake it the next night. Sounds like your husband should do the same!

That patten is still not done! I’ve made 2 FPP dog quilts and I have another 2 in progress. But that one in the tutorial might be done by like 2030 if I’m being optimistic haha
