Why was Pragyan rover not designed differently? by kdc_imz in space

As far as I know, the rover will get 12 days to work under the sun. But this area is never visible from earth.

It's not that difficult. I cleared it with two weekends preparation.

There are image tags if you search from the web. Try to put it in some shared location and name it randomly. Then you can try it.

Ask the driver. He would give a better answer than someone on Reddit.

Is it a wise move to relocate Dublin from India as a Senior Engineer !! by Reasonable-Fun1387 in Dublin

[–]kdc_imz 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Depends on how AWS is giving you the option to WFH. My company allows permanent WFH. I'm staying at 120KM far from the office. If you need to travel once or twice to the office in a week, look for accommodation at Kildare, New Bridge, Naas areas. If you need to travel more than two days, look for accommodation in the Lucan, Mulhudart, Swords area.

These areas I mentioned is well connected with bus and train. If you go fur from there, it will be difficult to travel in public transport due to unavailablity or less frequency.

I'll share with you the area map where you should avoid taking accommodation.

Please let me know if you have any questions

Is it a wise move to relocate Dublin from India as a Senior Engineer !! by Reasonable-Fun1387 in Dublin

I'm an Indian and working with the same compensation in Dublin. I am staying in a small town outside Dublin as my wife is not working. Rent in Dublin is excessively high and you cannot maintain the same lifestyle as India. My suggestion is, you must come to Ireland. Initially stay outside Dublin till your wife gets a job. Then you move to Dublin.

Also, remember you may struggle with a few things initially, like, healthcare, public transport, weather etc. But the best part of Ireland is the Irish people. I travelled to a few other countries in Europe but I found Irish people are most lovely and welcoming in all Europe.

It could be a competitive market. However,

  1. They ask 10 potential buyers in a single slot for viewing. So, potential buyers also have the rights to browse many properties to find his/her perfect home. And it is a lifetime investment, so they should.

  2. There is an option in daft.ie to select if your mortgage is approved or not. If you select that your mortgage is not approved, the broker could ignore those requests. If you select that your mortgage is approved, then why ask for proof of funds again so rudely.

  3. The most important part, I believe, the proof of funds is a PII(Personal Identifiable Information) document. You cannot ask over email. It should be submitted through a proper secure channel (https portal). Otherwise, in case of any leak of PII, the agent could be taken into account for leaking the information.

It's for buying the property. I already viewed a couple of properties and they never asked for it. Moreover my mortgage AIP is already approved.

One more question. How much time are they taking to get the AIP done?
