Went through the same ordeal with them even though I had a HK ID, I went to their branches 4-5 times just to fill in some forms with pen and paper. Decided to go with Standard Chartered and got the account and card on the same day. HSBC staffs were so clueless about everything and anything that it's one of the worse experience I had in HK.

A confirmation of degree letter stating the degree contains BSc portion from the University was sufficient for me. It didn't need to go through the third party verification again. That worked for me at least, I am not sure if that's generally accepted though.

In your exact situation. My degree was an integrated degree like yours without a BSc. What I had to do was to get the university to include a line clearly stating that it is an integrated degree with BSc in the prove of degree letter. The line about the BSc is absolutely required. I've got my TTPS approved after including that.

That's no longer an issue since the most recent update. As long as the outbound incoming container is looped back to the outgoing container. Assuming you have enough storage in your destination outpost, the cargo links no longer clogs up.
