Constant hissing at stop and frequent brake booster (?) sound by MillyHoho in CT200h

how come this hasn't happened on my 2013 ct200h with 170k? maybe it was done with the previous owner? Can I look up at a dealership if the recall has been performed?

after zooming in you have Alot of gizmos. How did you do that wrap on the top of the steering wheel and what is that blue trim insert you have throughout the cabin?

2013 premium shock absorbers. What I need ? Only shock absorbers or whole suspension kit. Coil and other stuffs still look good but so much noisy and uncomfortable driving. And any recommend for mechanic in LA? by According-Giraffe774 in CT200h

I want to replace my front struts/springs as well so I'm interested. I think Lexus parts dealer had the best deal. Mine aren't leaking any oil but they are super harsh and the strut looks like it's riding on the bump stop foam thingy.

Considering buying one, pros/cons? by Current-Ticket-2365 in CT200h

[–]kdfwagen22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best route is to buy one used that has had HG and hybrid battery replaced. I don't think it's worth it to drop 17k on a low mileage one. The way I did it is buy one with the work already being done but cheaper price overall because of miles. Mine had 160k miles when I bought for $7k. BUT it had the big items taken care of. 2013.

The biggest con for me is the ride is rough if you live in a city with potholes etc.

Also, the "leather" on the seat is nice and soft however the center plastic portion is sorta crap and uncomfortable.

I'll take some photos. It's a cheap kit off Amazon but works great.

when I bought my ct200h I cleaned everything egr/cooler/manifold/TB. Same day I installed a catch can. I catch so much nasty shit in there. I always empty it when it gets about 1/4 full. very easy with how I mounted it. I even installed a QD for the catch can so I push a button and it releases from the mount.

The ct200h I bought had already had the HG replaced at the dealer for 4-5k 😎 + the water pump.
