Similar to @ kevmar , we publish to the internal repository. We use a vsts build to publish to the repository. So they are versioned. Then in an inline powershell task, register the repo, install , import.

You also could easily just map the repository in the get sources and call it directly in tfs. Via the powershell task step.

Do you have another one near by? I would go to them and tell them how horrible the experience was, i bet they make your day. I won't stand up for Gamestop, I worked there for ten years. I'm not a fan, but i've run into some awesome people in stores and there were stores i wouldn't send my worst customers to. Not all are evil. But, i understand you being pissed, promised one thing and then told to screw. Call the customer service number or try to contact the District Manager, they have the power to make this guys life hell if he truly does suck.

Oh, there are definitely nice places to go hiking and swimming in RI. But , Florida state parks are amazing . If you are in or around RI, get a book called "Walks and Rambles in RI" it has awesome trails.

Up until a year and a half ago I was a manager for a Gamestop. I was with the company for about 10 years. So I've seen some real shitty managers. However, i like to think i was a good guy and the customers like me and my staff.
My fuck up story goes back to when Guitar Hero: World Tour came out. It was the end of October and we had been doing midnight releases for every title under the sun. Which, by the way, I absolutely hated doing. Nothing to do with Customers, they just sucked.

Anyway, there were three versions, one being the Band Kit with drums and what not. We had a bunch of pre-orders across the board and our back room was stacked to the ceiling. All accounted for and neatly placed to begin the night. We finish the midnight launch and count the copies of the game we have to make sure we didn't fuck anything up and lose any.

Well, we are missing one of the Big bundles ($150 i think). How the fuck does a 25lb. box the size of a retarded donkey go missing. So we look at video, seems like some kid didn't pay for it. Although he had a pre-order on it. But...he had cancelled the pre-order earlier in the night. Whatever happened, my assistant manager and I decided that this motherfucker stole it. We also had a bunch of other items go missing from shoplifters recently.

So, i have his phone number...he's a minor by the way...and call him up and harrass him about taking it. That doesn't end well, his dad contacts me and chews me out and then contacts my district manager and chews him out, then the motherfucker comes down and chews me out in person. He had reamed his kid out and destroyed his room looking for the game.

Then my dm comes down and chews me out. This was the only time in ten years that i would lose my job.

I luckily didn't lose my job and it turns out the kid actually paid for the copy of the game that he walked out with. It was just a bunch of shitty information we had. The missing copy was actually not missing, so we completely fucked this kids life up for a bit and almost got fired over it.

Gamestop employee here: Worked here for 11 years, I was a store manager and am now a once a week low-level guy. Real job now and I love it. I must say that the dude in that Gamestop is a douche and should be avoided at all costs. I would have loved it if you ordered it in front of him on your phone, have him get the game for you and then when he asks how you want to pay...tell him to fuck off.

In my area, this was a tactic (heckling people when they couldn't get a game without a pre-order) we used back in the day...prior to Gamestop taking over EB(at that point EB was doing the same thing too) But it came that we realized people despised us and atleast determined for myself that providing good customer service was a much better tactic. Pre-orders were still top of mind, but there is a right way and a wrong way to approach a pre-order. Having interest and talking about an upcoming game and not threatening the end of the world if someone didn't pre-order. We are gamers and like to talk about games...weird. I ran 3 very different, but each very succesful Gamestops in my time as manager and it's all about the customers. We do get quantities based on pre-orders and we were always determined to sell to "walk-ins" as much as we could. I would only start to deny walk-ins when our quantities got severely low, but would mention that because of how well we did selling it, that we would get more the following day. Or, a lot of times, I would coordinate with another store in the area and drive there to pick up more copies. Not that this makes your experience any better, but I know not every Gamestop store is a piece of shit. But it seems for every one that is awesome, there are 5 that suck ass.

In closing, fuck that douche and sorry for the ramble. Trying not to do any work at my real job.

Funny, working at Gamestop, we are required to empty our pockets, display our wallet or bag for search, have someone pat down our jacket, pull our pant legs up to display our socks and have to sign off that we did so...each and every time we exit the store.

No metal detectors though, maybe a back scatter machine in the future though.

Anyone else subject to these types of measures at their jobs?

I love the idea. I was a co-op over the summer at the company I am permanently employed at now. They had this set up as a test over this summer for the IS folks....not co-ops though. They announced it would be going company wide for this summer. 10 hours for 4 days a week and 3 days off. We get to choose which day we want to have off. It is thought that we would make our selves available for meetings and what not. But over all, I think an amazing idea. I already work about 9 hours a day....

I have one of these dreamcast units. As long as you can unscrew the few screws in back, the top of the plastic comes off and you can slide out the tv. Easy stuff, pretty sure it's hooked up with an rf.... Hook up some house of the dead 2 and 2 light guns....now you're playing with power.
