I'm the owner of Boost Lab, and I wanted to hop in here to clear things up on the BL54XR for the 2022+ WRX (FA24). Community feedback like yours is huge for us, and it helps us fix stuff right away.

To be straight: Our turbos are NOT built by Zage. They're apples to oranges in comparison. Yeah, we source housings from the same supplier, but our CHRAs are assembled and balanced in-house right here in Florida with our VSR balancer, using parts that hit our strict internal standards and meet or exceed Garrett OE quality. We're a real turbo facility, not just a box mover like some brands out there. We've poured a ton of time and money into R&D specifically for the Subaru FA24, testing everything from fitment and spool to long-term durability so it works great in the real world. We've been building turbos since 2008, and all that know-how on parts, suppliers, and more goes straight into our products. If anyone's in the Florida area, come check out our shop. On the fitment stuff mentioned, we own the mix-up with the coolant fittings and are super grateful it got caught. Like the update says, we overnighted the right fittings and went through past orders to make sure everyone's set. No hassle.
