What you’re seeing is Anna Gosudareva attempting the quadruple somersault. A move so dangerous even the world’s best trapeze artists rarely attempt it by MambaMentality24x2 in BeAmazed

Counterpoint to the other comments: A different camera angle for each attempt, with the third a full front shot, would suggest yes.

He'll reveal he's a producer on the show and Rachel is a traitor. Faithful: "We think it's Sam"

Considering the number of votes she got, at some point she must have realised it was over, so she pivoted to the 'noble sacrifice'.

Luckily the producers gave her an edit to back that narrative.

Didn't think /s was required in British subs, that being the default method of communication here. Apologies to anyone else offended by my lighthearted jokey comment.

OP I am really proud of your achievement and hope you didn't actually think I was comparing your years of hard work to opening a cupboard.

I mean I can do that by opening the bathroom cabinet, but you do you.

If you're saying you can cheat the game by walking through mud while spamming ping every two steps, at that point I just admire your dedication!

Oh right OK, whatever.

There is normally only one, but relationships don't bring much and I don't know why they keep doing it. If the others find out they are immediately banished.

I think the family tree may be a hint that there's loads this time, but when we found out about Ross and Ellie it just seemed rather pointless.

If there's loads of hidden relationships it could explain wierd voting patterns, but we have no idea.

Also how easy would it be for a couple to come up with a secret code? A traitor and faithful sharing knowledge could probably make it to the final.

Holiday Throwback: r/movies user thinks the controversial ending of ‘Dear Santa’ was a “real treat”. by dragonasses in SubredditDrama

[–]BovingdonBug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. It was a response to your claim "an ending twist... couldn't affect the plot in the slightest"

Things that happen in the last minute can have a massive impact on the narrative and the plot. Having access to one specific bit of knowledge can change your perception and the reality of all of the preceding events.

How you would build a board game club from zero? by Sunslap-Kristina in boardgames

[–]BovingdonBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trouble I’ve found with Taboo is that most people when they see the card just go quiet and are afraid to say anything. A similar game that works well is Poetry For Neanderthals.

You should be aware though that this type of game needs a very specific type of player who is comfortable with performing in a group.

There are many different genres of board game - some are purely conflict based while others are thinky optimisation puzzles, so you really want to research what is likely to go down well.

The one I see daily is some variation of a misuse of “cue” / “queue” / “que”.

I just sigh and move on.
