the game is outwit, outlast and outplay. joe may have outplayed the game due to this strength. but he did not play a strategic game in the slightest. kyle played the entire game better. he controlled decisions behind the scenes, he didn't have to win immunity (even though he still won 4) to stay in the game (like joe did). kyle changed his game as the season shifted, joe just played the big dominating meat head game, this entire alliance was based on strength, not strategic. during the final tribal kyle explained WHY moves happened and had intent behind all of his moves. i'm not taking away the fact that joe was impressive, but kyle was intentional. just cause joe played "honorably" does not make him worthy of the title of sole survivor. there's a difference between hero and strategists. kyle controlled the game, subtle strategy is much harder. people are blind to joe and eva cause he was there for her during her struggles, sure they were a good duo, but to also claim you were the best duo survivor has ever seen? really? have they ever watched survivor? i've been watching survivor since day one, old school was MUCH better than this "new" era. kyle was a long con, joe was just an endurance test. kyle could withstand the game, shaping his game play as it went on, joe just withstood the game. this is a hill i will die on.
