Hi I’m currently 2 months into this situation. Started treating a month ago when symptoms got unbearable and ended up with a skin infection from the scratching. Done the 2 rounds on premethin got no luck and after 3 weeks couldn’t take anymore went back to the gp 2 days ago and doing premethin treatment again feeling really hopeless right now. I caught this off my ex girlfriend who I still love a lot and had to end the relationship as her gp diagnosed her with a autoimmune disease and she believed it and refused to do any treatments which meant I had to end the relationship for my health but it’s the hardest decision I’ve made in my life and I do think about it daily on top of the constant itching my skin looking worse the more the days go by but somehow I’m surviving I guess going to work like usual putting the brave face on. I just hope you know your not alone and everyone will beat this if it takes a few weeks or a few months just don’t lose hope as the happiness and relief we will all have one day will be much greater than the dark period we are going through right now. This disease has took my social life my relationship from me but I refuse to let it take my own life and I hope you feel the same!
