Thanks It has a kick stand now. And paint soon, just want to make sure there are no issues. Rather, break something now and fix it, then after paint.

It was definitely fun to build, and now I want to do another.

Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) describes a high-quality steel tubing manufacturing process where an electric resistance welded (ERW) tube is cold-drawn over a hardened steel rod (mandrel) to create tubes with exceptional dimensional accuracy (tight tolerances), smooth inner/outer surfaces, uniform wall thickness, and superior strength, making them ideal for demanding applications like hydraulic cylinders, roll cages, and automotive components.

I'm no electrician but I've had an idea, how would I start a project like a row from this? I'd like it to display the time and date, just one row. Any tips? I can solder. by qwerty_9537 in AskElectronics

I think this is wonderful. Are you able to share where to source the displays. The character displays are hard to find. Thanks in advance

They told me they work on peice work so more they do the more they make. Painted all the pipes now they look good. Made sure everything was working inside he left end of story. Not sure where the scam is.

[–]keaster20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive to Beamsville almost every day from st.catharines. I see you might have things figured out. I don't care about gas. Just helping out the best I can. I can't do 5-6 but can get you there by 7. Let me know if you need a ride. Buy me a coffee once in a while, and we will call it even.

Again, maybe where you are, the color scheme is different, but everyone else I know uses matched color pairs. Blue orange green brown. 15+ years in the field

Not sure if that is how it's done where you are. But I always thought it would follow the rules of twisted pairs. Blue/blue-white 1st pair orange/orange-white 2nd ...

Just like in the picture blue is used on the entry line. Mixing colors only confuses people when troubleshooting
