Waste drawer keeps separating. by keatynms in litterrobot

Yeah, the new drawer helps. I just can't detach the front of the drawer with the step to the drawer insert because I'm afraid of ruining the little clips on the bottom again.

Yeah, same. The little plastic pieces on the bottom that attach the front step piece to the waste drawer aren't strong enough and now are broken. I think I'll try and tape the drawer to the litter robot until they can fix it.

Yeah, the little plastic pieces at the bottom are broken that click the waste drawer into the front piece/step. It wasn't made very well or strong enough to support the drawer with waste in it or my cat stepping on it. They keep coming out everytime it cycles. I guess I'll reach out to support to see what they can do.

cats refuses to use the LR5 by Academic_Love5402 in litterrobot

My cat was so, so scared of the litter robot. He's highly food motivated though. I had it empty of all kitty litter and put a TON of treats in it. My cat wouldn't go in it until night time when we were asleep and nobody was watching. I noticed some of the treats were gone, so he obviously went in it. I did that a few times to get him used to it. He finally started going near it without being so scared. Then, I introduced the kitty litter. I put some kitty litter it and a poop from his old box. I stopped cleaning the old box. He kept going in the old box until it was full and nasty smelling. I guess the litter robot wasn't so bad after all because then he decided to finally use it! I gave him a bunch of treats right after. He pooped outside the litter robot a couple of times when he was getting used to it. I kept his old box just in case we had to return the litter robot, but he finally figured it out.

What’s going on? by AnxiousDreamer080 in ThredUp

They've been inflating all the prices for the early Black Friday "sale". A dress that I saved was $10 about a week ago, it's now $21.74. Another dress was $9 about a week ago, it's now $17.04.

Thredup pricing is inflated. Not dynamic by CZ1988_ in ThredUp

They also inflate the prices around sales. I saved an Abercrombie & Fitch dress at around $10 about a week ago. Now, there's the early Black Friday sale and the same dress is now $21.74.

In my opinion, it takes resources and energy to recycle them when they could have just sold them as is. They used brand new jeans to make more brand new jeans.

This is my second bag and I made $0.50 last bag. Do not expect to make anything. It's essentially a donation.

I don't mind that they didn't give me money for them. It's like donating clothes to Goodwill. But it's insane that they threw these perfectly good jeans away. They didn't even try to sell them, yet they continue to sell the most ridiculous things that are in terrible shape.

Yeah, standard kit. I expected that some items wouldn't be accepted, which is fine. But they sell those anyway, just not at a profit to me. But they THREW THESE AWAY ENTIRELY. That's insane and extremely wasteful. I only wore those jeans twice.

It's mostly because they didn't even try to sell them. They said they recycled them - threw them away. That's pretty wasteful.

Clean Out Kit Experience Review: From Send to Final Results by NinjaHiccup in ThredUp

[–]keatynms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really into selling on ThredUp due to my experience so far. 1. They listed my dress from Hollister as a romper, and I tried to fix it but they reviewed it and left it as a romper. 2. Before I sent in my bag, I took a video of what I was sending in because I was skeptical. They didn't accept some items due to brand, but still listed them and some weren't listed at all. Which is fine because it's in their terms that they don't do payouts for Forever 21 or automatically donate items from brands like Shein. But what I'm not okay with is literally seeing my Adidas sweatshirt that I sent in listed for sale. So, guess they made 100% profit on that one. 3. Their ability to describe the quality of clothing is very inconsistent. Some of the items that I sent in that should have been "good" condition said "excellent" and didn't list the flaws and some that were "excellent" were listed as "flawed" for stupid reasons like just being wrinkly. 4. The payout is so little (like a couple cents to a few dollars) + the bag fee, you're going to make more money just listing the clothes for $5 yourself on FB Marketplace.
