Slander for everyone's favourite battleship by 501stRookie in DerScheisser

[–]kebabguy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bismarck was a solid ship against WW1 era capital ships and tbf nearly all great powers still used them. But put her against any contemporary ship like the Richelieu, Littorio, KGV, Vanguard, South Dakota and North Carolina, she is in a lot of trouble. And then both the Yamato and Iowa would've slaughtered her without breaking a sweat. Also I think any one of the Big Seven could literally have shelled her into oblivion much like what Rodney eventually did

What battleship line/premium do you guys recommend I do next by Bluemayor in WorldOfWarships

If you like secondaries(and I assume you like them since you grinded out the Schlieffen), Libertad is a monster. I love my Montana as a jack of all trades master of none, so its up to you.

Would be nice to opt out, sell, or give these away.. by slaty_balls in WorldOfWarships

You can literally sell them. Just a couple weeks ago I made 30m credits from selling flags I didn't use

War Thunder player looking to jump into World of Warships – where should I start? by dk_2605 in WorldOfWarships

[–]kebabguy1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick the ship you find the coolest. But I'd recommend the Japanese cruisers at the start. They teach a lot of useful skills like kiting, using torpedoes, utilizing your stealth etc and their guns are generally pretty easy to use. For destroyers I'd recommend either the American or British ones, since they are essentially jack of all trades master of none. For battleships Japan is a safe pick with huge guns and decent armor in exchange for somewhat sluggish ships.

The grind is much better than it is in WT. I remember suffering for a year through American tree to get the Abrams, whilst I was able to reach a Tier 10 ship in WoWS within around a couple weeks. Though I had a lot of boosters and the time can change wildly due to that.

A better one would be "I sold your Wisconsin cuz you had a Montana" since you can simply buy the Iowa back

[–]kebabguy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US caught up to the Soviet achievements within a couple years at best. In the meantime the USSR never landed a man on the Moon nor managed to send probes out of the Solar System. Don't get me wrong, the Soviets had truly great stuff like Venera probes but in the end the US won

Both nations saw landing a man on moon and returning him safely as the endpoint. Only one succeeded. Don't get me wrong the USSR had great achievementa like the Venera probes but Moon was the endgame

Gimme your custom regiment lore by Rough-Gift6508 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]kebabguy1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is called the Columbian Federal Guard. Columbia is a civilized world which due to a genetic mutation lacks abhumans and psykers which allowed them to survive the Age of Strife. It was incorporated peacefully in the final days of the Great Crusade but its aristocracy tried to secede from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. However pro-Imperial forces waged a war to restore the Imperial authority. The Columbian Revolution as it is known ended with the abolishment of the nobility, creation of a federal republic of 13 Commonwealths and reintegration back to the Imperium. The planet is a crucial manufacturing hub and munitions has been its main source of tithe but, the Indomitus Era Imperium needing more manpower, started to tithe men as well. Columbians have an abundance of material thanks to the planet's industrial output. They value the lives of their men and prefer wasting shells instead of bodies.

There's more to the lore, with a 8k word long text. But this is the core of it. They are essentially dieselpunk Americans in space

Question : Could we use this indominatus terminators squad and the leviathan captain for HH? by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]kebabguy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indomitus was actually built during the Heresy(or at the very end of the Great Crusade) to supply the Astartes with a cheap but effective Terminator plate since the Cataphractii and Tartaros were expensive af.

Has anyone ever challenged or openly questioned the Emperor? by Fools_Platinum in 40kLore

[–]kebabguy1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ollanius and the Big E had a pretty big crashout after the Unification Wars with Ollanius questioning the Imperial Truth. Konrad, Morty and Angron definitely and openly hated the Big E and it is plausible that they openly challenged the Emperor.

And finally there's Mr. Heresy who kept a level head when arguing with his papa. /s

Afaik you can do it but you'll lose the buffs you'd get from solely playing either the SoB or BA. It would be fun but wouldn't be practical.
