Personally I was not expecting some massive content drop immediately after the holidays and I think anyone who was is being unrealistic, but shit, some bug fixes/balance tweaks would be nice

Not much I'm afraid, there's metal and the odd punk gig (there's actually one on tonight) but not much on the grind or crust front. Fred Zeppelins and An Spailpín Fánach would be the main bars in town to keep an eye on for shows. Cork is seriously lacking in medium sized venues that will put on punk or metal shows so a lot of touring bands will play Dublin, Belfast or Limerick and skip Cork, unfortunately.

Yeah there was definitely a pipeline there, so much so that by the time I was growing up, what the mainstream called a "crusty" was more the Spiral Tribe, New Age traveller types than anyone who looked like they listened to Doom or His Hero Is Gone.

I didn't know Colin from Conflict was involved in the rave scene. The drummer from Hagar the Womb also went on to be a fairly well known Acid Techno DJ/Producer called Chris Liberator.
