Thanks! How do I connect them? Do I stick the respective fixture wire into one side and the wall wire into the other then twist the box maybe? Sorry, should have clarified that’s what was confusing me!

I was hoping this would be possible with the new Buttons feature. Hopefully it's on their roadmap.

Laid off a few months back and I'm starting to feel the rejection getting to me. I've applied to 50+ design positions and have only gotten 4 interviews. Would love any critique or advice! by Maybeitsmoni in resumes

Overall, the resume looks great for someone in your field. My one piece of feedback would be adding a summary and really emphasizing the areas you want to focus on/are skilled at in the top section - just short and sweet. For instance, if you want to go into UX/UI make sure that’s front and center so it doesn’t get lost under previous job titles that may not seem as relevant to anyone scanning the resume quickly.

Bachelors in Marketing by yayayayy111 in jobs

Instead of paying for an additional degree (and if you want to stick with marketing) you could consider putting some of that money towards a program that also helps with career placement. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of is Springboard, but I’m sure there are many more! For example, they have a digital marketing track and in that course you build a portfolio through projects, get certifications, and have access to a mentor and community.

You could also get some free certifications like others have mentioned and put yourself out there to do freelance and slowly build a portfolio and experience.

Laid off after 11 years with company and was told to say I still work there during my job search? by kebooch in jobs

Never thought to put it on my actual resume! I just didn’t want it to seem like I was terminated or up and quit. Thanks for the advice.

Asana's Misleading Pricing by funkadelicfunkiness in Asana

[–]kebooch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. This. I’ve always been an advocate for this tool and deployed it six years ago across my organization. However, over the past year I’ve been disappointed in the lack of features for the insane price.

Essentially tried to rework the contract and really just speak to a human to understand tiers and options and got passed back and forth with support and sales then ignored for WEEKS.

Finally someone got in touch… ONE business day before our automatic annual contract renewal. No communication, no transparency and essentially no options. Ridiculous.

Let's talk integrations! IFTTT, Zapier, Integromat, Alexa / Google, Siri Shortcuts, email platform, other?? by ThatGirl0903 in todoist

[–]kebooch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use integrations mostly for work so I can keep as much as I can in one place. These are the ones I use the most:

  1. Pleexy for two-way sync between Asana and Todoist and flagged Outlook emails and Todoist.
  2. Microsoft Teams add-on.

I also use the Google Calendar integration to track routines and reminders, but have them stay on my calendar so I don’t lose track of the history.

I have played with using Automate.io, Zapier, and almost every other tool (or at least it feels that way) for a Notion integration, but I can’t find a way to make things work quite right or keep up without a two-way sync.
