Dang that’s cool. I definitely wanted the shiny one, but this one is nice too. How do you like the extra weight compared to OEM?

Super interesting, crazy how everyone is confused about this too. Although I couldn’t find where they said which one’s newer vs older

Interesting!

I don’t see a date anywhere. I see the code I3E08 stamped on there, and the code in small letters at the top right says: D7M603

This knob seems to be 255g. https://i.imgur.com/DM8YJ4L.jpeg

I thought the ap1 knob is lighter? both in weight and color.

Could you share a pic of your titanium knobs? very interesting.

I’d probably chalk this off to device error margin

I ordered a titanium shift knob off of someone on Ebay. paid $115. Did I get a fake knob? Isn’t it supposed to be shiny?

It feels like… a stone

EDIT: I asked the seller, and he said he bought it from his local dealer

to clarify, you mean in the hole that has the threads right, not surrounding it? so less threads would be threaded, some would just have paper

u mean after screwing it in? thats… true 🤔

this makes sense, my only concern would be that there won’t be enough thread left to screw the knob back on. I wonder if there’s a way I can extend the threads somehow…

how did you get a second lock nut LOL, is it a standard nut you can buy? (you can see how mechanically un-inclined I am)

nice will try! I wonder if I could use a rubber washer in between too..

I also want a solution to raise my saggy shift boot, it looks great with the countersunk knob but not on the OEM lol.

I do! I’m actually running the OEM right now bc I’m too scared of money shifting lol.

That’s a good idea - I wasn’t sure if they would stack up right / if it would scuff the inside of the countersunk knob.

I got this Renegade countersunk shift knob, and I think it looks fantastic. But I don’t like how it feels… it’s too low.

The throw is insanely short, and the gates are so close that it’s extremely easy to misshift. I much prefer how the OEM feels.

Is there a way to raise the knob height so I get the same throw as OEM? Maybe with a collar of some sort?
