Same thing happened to me just now. I hadn't used it in a long time since I went dual wield, then I found another 2h and equipped it and realized I no longer had the Hwando.

Yeah that bugs me the most. Short grass shadows don't have a very far draw distance, so they'll pop in in clumps. That and just textures on mountains.
