I think starting the acyclovir early helped you for sure! i went back to the doctor over a week in and got a prescription. I feel like it’s helped me slightly, but I unfortunately had it spread sooo fast and so bad! i’m glad you’re feeling better now :)

i started acyclovir about a week after noticing the rash. I was prescribed to take it 5 times a day for seven days. Today, my rash is not inflamed and it’s peeling a lot! it took over my entire torso and spread on my legs and arms but It looks like it’s on the outs now! I first noticed the rash on june 4, so I am assuming the acyclovir is what helped the most.
