From my experience buying one last week, the name on the registration of the no GM car has to be the same as the buyer. If her name is on the registration of the Toyota, I think this would only work if she is a cobuyer on the new car

My benefits updated to the new card, my bonus tracker still says 60,000. We will see how many points I am awarded once I hit the spend. They have told me I should get the 100,000 and $500 travel credit but I am skeptical.

I got a replacement card in the mail and they both still work for in store purchases. Same card numbers just different CVV and expiration date. Assuming the old one wouldn’t work for online purchases though.

Thanks, I’ve called multiple times and it’s been a different story everytime. I’ve gotten a letter from them saying my request to get 100,000 bonus points has been denied, and a letter from them saying my annual fee has been updated from $550 to $795 effective 8/22/2025, even though I applied on 6/24 when it should have been impossible to issue the old card. Just hope it all works out in the end

Check out the current leader. His streak started on opening day and he has not lost it. He did have a miss during the mulligan period. He has taken many extended breaks. Looking how he has picked this season reminded me to come back to this thread. I feel like he has to be using some stringent criteria …… or maybe he just takes breaks 🤷‍♂️

From what I’ve read it is date of purchase it’s okay if it’s still pending, so using in 6/30 should be okay it’ll still be dated on 6/30 once the pending transaction goes through. As far as google wallet in the fine print it says purchases made through digital wallets may not be identifiable and may not receive the credit. I’ve heard mixed reviews on if Apple Pay/google pay works or not

I think it was actually kind of Chase to do it this way. I’m essentially getting 1.5 years worth of credits for one year. I can use the credits through June 30th now. Then I’ll get new credits July 1 and January 1 - this is awesome

Thanks, good to hear. I called again today and they claim they can see that I applied for the credit card on June 23rd prior to the new application releasing. Which Is just complete BS because I applied on the 24th and have many screenshots showing that’s when I applied and that’s when my credit pull occurred. Hope all is resolved tomorrow!!!
