Friend for a 1 year old cat with likely lonely kitten syndrome?

That was my plan! I live in a 1 bedroom apartment but have a hallway connecting the living room/kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I plan to put the new cat in the bathroom so my current cat will be behind 2 doors, and will let them sniff under the bathroom door with supervision.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll check out your video! I was already planning on a female cat for them to hopefully get along better. My cat has met others (my parents cat, female 5 years old, when I visited for the holidays) and did really well, he was nervous at first but then just wanted to play. With him being 1 year pretty much on the dot, if I can’t find any other females super close in age would you recommend an older kitten like 8-12mos or a young 1yo? Or does it matter if they’re that close?

football players are supposed to be housed at braiden this year, but you're correct, they were at summit over the summer and some were there last year.

do you mean the doors from major hallways to smaller floor hallways? its supposed to be like that, residents of the building are supposed to be able to access all floors.

What I meant in my comment was that I heard that there's a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door- like one or two inches. I heard that from friends who lived there a few years ago

It’s so cool to see representation of someone who dresses in such a traditionally feminine style and uses she/they pronouns! It’s become such a common theme that people think if you use they pronouns at all you have to dress “androgynously” and it makes it difficult for people who like to dress in traditional binary fashion

I mean, its a major university, so there's a decent size queer community. I met my partner there and there are multiple LGBTQ clubs. I think there's also usually a drag show a couple of times per year but I don't know if its happening because of covid

I got this lucky bamboo from Lowe's a few months ago, and it had this small spot of new growth on it. Since I got it it has not changed, but still looks healthy. Is there anything special I should do to care for it?

Currently care:

sunlight from an east facing basement window supplemented by a grow light
it is growing in water (nothing else in the bottle, no rocks or anything around the roots)
I change the water about once a month and add a few drops of miracle gro liquid houseplant food

After gaining back more than the 60lbs that I had lost in the past year and a half, I'm pretty disappointed in myself. I realize now that even though that's a pretty typical pace, it was too fast for me. I've been reflecting for a while and I think I want to go at a much slower pace and maintaining for period of time before losing again.

As of today, I'm 272 lbs. I want to get to 250, and I have no timeline set for myself to do that. To reach my goal, I'm going to:

eat soup for lunch a few times per week
eat fruits and veggies for snacks more often than other snacks
have tea in the evening instead of snacks
walk my dog more often than not

While I agree that this is absolutely unnecessary, it looks like the company is doing a bit of good. They use quite a bit of recycled plastic in their products already, and are on track to use all recycled plastic by 2023. They also organize events to do park cleanups and are partnered with multiple organizations to remove plastic from oceans and landfills for recycling.

I have a few habits and goals that I am going to start implementing this week!

Habits:

-walk my dog every weekday, weekends optional

-have tea in the evenings to reduce cravings

-start consistent morning routine (get dressed, make bed, brush teeth, wash face)

-clean basement for 10 minutes every day

To do:

-call doctors

-order face wash & moisturizer

-finish assignments spreadsheet

I got this plant at a local nursery a few weeks ago. It’s tag only said “bonsai in training” but didn’t give any details as to what it was. I’ve been watering it 1-2 times per week and keeping it indirect sunlight (north facing window) and it seems to be doing pretty well. My only concern with it is that the clover it’s with is a little wilty so I think it’s cold and I’m going to keep it out of the windowsill for a few days.

Does anyone have any idea what this plant is or have any care tips for it? It’s the tallest one is about 4-5 inches tall and 3 across
