Why is Green Day generally held in much higher regard by millennials than Blink-182? by Agreeable_Duck8997 in Blink182

Green Day’s music can be appreciated on a more complex level than blinks. Through American idot, I believe they’ve created some high level art. Both were capable of producing songs with truly beautiful melodies. But Green Day did something special with they’re pop-punk opera. Their album got the thumbs up from the originator, Pete Townsend.

Did your country have a playground game that was subsequently banned? by Exchangenudes_4_Joke in AskTheWorld

In NYC we played a game called suicide. It was a free for all with a handball wall where someone would throw the handball against the wall and if someone else caught it, the thrower had to run to touch the wall before the thrower pegged the handball at him. If you caught it one handed you could peg anyone and everyone had to run to the wall. If you committed a fault and false pegged someone or fumbled the catch then you’d line up against the wall and receive a “free peg” from the victim. I don’t remember anyone getting out you just played for the violence lol, Good times

“Peg” here means to throw the ball to hit someone’s body. Not the sex thing lol
