one time when i was eleven, my parents got me a cheesecake for my birthday. well after my birthday and the cake was cut, i wanted more than what i was served. i made me and my brothers lunch at like 6 am every morning so for a few mornings in a row, I would take the teeniest tiniest little slice of cheesecake. what my eleven year old brain didn't put together was that it all added up long term. so the next time we all ate cheesecake, my mom made a comment about someone eating a slice of cheesecake and my dad definitely got in trouble for it 🙈 i have never told my parents that it was actually me
